About the Project

This full kitchen renovation in Purcellville, VA was designed for a health conscious family with two active teenagers and a mom who finds joy in cooking and gathering loved ones. We transformed a small, closed-off kitchen into a spacious, functional hub—more than doubling its size to accommodate both everyday living and effortless entertaining.

The new layout features semi-custom flat-panel cabinetry, a generously sized island with seating for five, and integrated, panel-ready appliances for a streamlined look. A mix of rich wood tones and modern finishes creates a timeless, vintage-inspired aesthetic, while still offering modern conveniences.

With thoughtful design choices and a warm, inviting feel, this open-concept kitchen now allows the home chef (aka mom) to stay connected during meal prep, weeknight dinners or weekend entertaining. It’s a perfect blend of elevated design and functional flow, truly making this kitchen the heart of the home.
