About the Project

This beautiful family of three transitioned from a townhome with a small footprint to a gorgeous and expansive lakeside home. When thinking about the next stage of their life and the home design, they agreed that this property would center around harmony and blending two distinct design styles. The wife, forever inspired by the coastal aesthetic, blended with her husband's passion for Wes Anderson’s cinematic flair. The result? A design that balances coastal ease with mid-century modern character. This project featured a home office inspired by Anderson's distinctive style, all set against the tranquil backdrop of lake views.

For the primary bath, a spa-like retreat was at the top of the list. We designed a serene wet room complete with every modern amenity, layered storage solutions, and a soothing palette that invites relaxation at the end of the day.

The basement, however, was an opportunity to take the design in a bold new direction. Here we put our elevated spin on Modern Western, transforming the unfinished space from studs to stunning. The result is a multifunctional retreat, perfect for entertaining, dining, lounging, gaming, exercising, and more. All while honoring the family’s desire for warmth, comfort, and style.
